The Peer Counsellor Journal
Back issues of this journal are available to members online and in a print format. Previously published twice a year, the Peer Counsellor Journal was Canada's major source of information on peer helping. In December, 1999 after being published for thirteen years, the Journal which typically contained news briefs from the peer helping movement, tips, hints, and practical ideas for peer programs, and bibliographic information, was merged with Compass: A Magazine for Peer Assistance, Coaching and Mentoring. Some issues contained articles in French as well as English.
Oddysey: The Mentor Program Newsletter
Back issues of this newsletter are available to members online and in a print format. Previously published four or more times a year since 1994, Oddysey was the newsletter for Canadian Mentor Strategy National Training Leaders. Subject matter dealt with mentoring and mentor programs in schools, universities, and industry.
Keen-eyed readers have observed that the newsletter title Oddysey has a different spelling than the classic work Odyssey (written by Homer). The newsletter title was an attempt to capture the flavour of the origins of mentoring (as depicted in Homer's Odyssey) but to also reflect an "odd" or irregular publication schedule.
The Peer Bulletin
Published monthly, the Peer Bulletin is distributed by e-mail to all members of the Peer Resources Network. The Bulletin contains news briefs about peer, mentor, and coaching activities plus program tips, announcements, important dates, relevant internet links, reviews of resources, and practical ideas. Back issues are maintained in the password protected area of the Peer Resources website. The Bulletin is free to members of the Peer Resources Network. View a sample of the Peer Bulletin or the Table of Contents for all Peer Bulletins.
Subscriptions to all these publications are free to members of the Peer Resources Network. If you would like to receive a sample copy of one of the above publications, please complete our Online Survey.
